Assistant privacy and availability
The Professional Guide sends your question, recent conversation and eligible public evidence to Anthropic to prepare an answer. It does not access private Fact Sheets or save conversation text in the site’s server logs, and it does not learn from your conversation.
Completed answers and their verification receipts are kept in this tab’s session storage. They are eligible for reuse for at most 30 minutes and are checked before reuse. Clearing the tab conversation removes this local copy; it does not erase provider or hosting records or undo processing already started.
Anthropic describes its standard API retention as deletion within 30 days, with stated safety, legal and contractual exceptions. This site does not promise zero provider retention. Read Anthropic’s retention policy. Hosting may retain operational request metadata. Do not include confidential hiring, company or personal information.
Rate-limit records contain a salted address hash and are marked to expire after 24 hours. A daily cleanup job deletes expired records; deletion can happen later if the job is delayed or fails. Expiry is not an immediate deletion guarantee. There is no persistent visitor memory, automatic learning, correction capture or autonomous outbound action.
Earlier assistant logs: 30-day expiry
Previously collected server logs may contain the assistant surface, the current page’s slug, your question, the response, a fixed Interview topic when selected, whether the answer was flagged for review, and creation and deletion timestamps. Records are marked to expire after 30 days. A daily deletion job removes expired records, and expired records are excluded from the private review endpoint even before that job runs. Delayed or failed cleanup can leave stored records past their expiry.
Not used as a visitor profile
Assistant logs do not include cookies, fit-brief company or role names, raw IP addresses, or a durable visitor identifier. Operational rate limiting stores only a salted address hash with a 24-hour expiry; the daily cleanup job deletes expired records, subject to delay or failure. Recommendation analytics use fixed destination and confidence labels, never your question or response.
Earlier assistant tab storage
The earlier assistant kept conversation state in session storage so it can survive same-tab navigation. It expires when the tab’s session ends. ItsClear conversation control removed that local transcript and its recommendation signals; it does not claim to erase a server log early.
The MCP server
The read-only MCP server at /mcp logs each tool call with a 30-day expiry: the tool’s name, its arguments (a search query is cut to 120 characters), the first word of the client’s user agent, and a timestamp. It stores no IP address and no hash of one in that log. Rate limiting works the same way as the assistant’s, with a salted address hash marked to expire after 24 hours. The same daily job deletes expired records; delay or failure can leave them stored beyond expiry.
